Indian Scrappers 2013 - Scrapbook Challenge #2

Hello Friends, Happy Monday. It is April 15th - which means time for our 2nd Scrapbook Challenge in the 2013 scrapbook series.
Our 2nd Challenge to you is to create a Layout where the Title has "mix of different Alphabets". Think Different sizes/Color/Font etc. Easy right. You can use Die cut alphabets, stickers, stamped alphabets, hand written. Just make sure to have some mix in them.

I made a 12x12 layout for this challenge and used a Script Font and also a scrabble tile font for my Title. And of course different colors as well. These are pictures of our trip to Seattle and has a picture of of the Seattle skyline. I die cut the Title using my Silhouette machine and the other Alphabets are from my stash.

Please stop by @ICR forum to get more information on the challenge and to play along with us.

ICR'ians rocked the first sketch challenge and here is a slide show so that you can see the entries for ISC1. You an also stop by at ICR Gallery to see the submissions.

ICRC27 - Sunday Spotlight

Hello, This is Banu here posting for ICR. Happy Sunday. I hope you are having a good weekend. We have a brand new challenge up on ICR for the Month of March - ICRC27 - One Layer card with Repeated stamping.

Here is the story board and we would love for you to come and play along,

Awesome submission so far. Just wanted to spend some time and shine the spotlight on this gorgeous card from Sathya Kala.. :)

You can view the card on ICR Gallery here and more info on her blog here.

I just loved the subtle masking she did for the leaves and flowers and you can see the stamping off or 2nd generation stamping that she did with the leaf stamp. Very nice.

The flourishes at the top and bottom clearly draws your eyes to the center panel. Very clever and the simple sentiment. Of course the distressed edges...Very nice and very creative.

I am highly impressed and WOW'ed by all the creations so far on ICR. Keep Checking out our blog for other spotlights coming up soon :) (Maybe it will be one of your creations).

We would love for you to Join (if you are not already a member of ICR) and play along with our challenges. There are freebies for you, a chance to be the Guest Designer for next month and of course all the fun and inspiration.

Until next post...Keep creafting...
Thanks
Banu
